Women in Music BC - Business of Songwriting

I produced a very special Business of Songwriting panel for the British Columbia chapter of Women in Music. Held at Bryan Adams's legendary studio, The Warehouse, the evening consisted of in depth conversations and insights about the life of a songwriter in today's landscape. Featured panelists include: jazz musician and film composer, Mary Ancheta; Jenny Lea of hip hop girl group NADUH, and seasoned swoon rock artist Alexandria Maillot. Moderated by multi-hyphenate actor, musician and artist advocate, Kristina Lao.

Song placement in Crazy8's short film competition

I had the pleasure of working with Argel MDR to produce a song for the coming-of-age comedy DTF? which premiered at Crazy8's short film competition in Vancouver. The film is about a young queer writer, Jonah, who is forced to confront his insecurities when he ends up on a date with his former English professor. Through a heated night of laughter, emotion, and vulnerability, the two unpack what it means to be a gay man in search for a real connection. Congratulations to the team including director Jess McLeod, writer Sam Krochmal, and producers Erin Purghart, Hana Huggins and Garfield Wilson.

Debut EP 'Revisions' out now

My debut self-produced EP, 'Revisions', features four collaborative tracks. This project was inspired by legendary producers like Timbaland, except I call it "girly Timbaland." The first track 'Run Away' is a new collaboration with two-time Canadian Idolist and charting songwriter, Jinting Zhao. It is an #allgirlsignalchain recorded at Up In Arms Studios in Edmonton, AB. The 2000's vibe was inspired by the sonic moments of Ne-Yo that defined the pop/R&B landscape of the early 2000's, with a dash of Tori Kelly.
